|How you like them "parchment-colored" strat knobs whatcha got there?

Phrembah (a potato-like mystery)
They are aesthetic perfection, lemme tell ya:
I was puttin' together a "left-handled" strat, that is a strat for a right-handed player with an upsidedown body, neck and pickguard with the bridge pickup slanted the wrong way so that you can be right-handed and still sound exactly like Jimi Hendrix. I mean, how else?
I went with a poplar body because poplar has a kind of slimy gray-green color that most people paint over, but I wanted to apply a clear-ish yellow varnish that the sliminess of the poplar would show through. Then I chose an "Anaconda" tortoiseshell-ish pickguard to maintain the "serpent of the swamps" motif. These "parchment" colored knobs were perfect against the Anaconda pickguard, having a contrasting but still slightly dirty look.
I heartily recommend them. Oh, and the numbers are already on so you don't have to write them on your guitar.
