Well, they just called to cancel boog groob. We got an honest ten inches of snow, probably more like twelve in places, and in a town that can be put on a two hour delay by a single snowflake and completely shut down by a second, this is as bad as I’ve seen it.
Where I grew up, this would be an average storm. A few years back, Salt Lake and Ogden got enough snow over the space of a couple or three days to completely bury automobiles. My relatives still have pictures. Now that's a snow storm. You can't even shovel your walks because you can't lift the snow high enough to throw it anywhere.
But, thanks to Clunk the Wonder Truck, I went for breakfast then into work for a few hours. I had to buy coffee at McDonald’s because Starbucks and the independent place I always go (when they're open) were closed. Then later at 7-11 because McDonald’s was closed. What suffering! Then I decided to go downtown and see a movie because there sure wasn’t anything else going on only to find the theater closed. And no mail for two days. Jeez, people!
So now what?
