Phrembah (a potato-like mystery)
. . . it might evaporate.|
I was policing my Amazon wish list just now and noticed that Gummo and Julien Donkey-Boy had dropped about 75% in price. They'd been on the list for a long time because they are movies that I believe in my heart everyone should own, but they were over $20 each, as indy films are wont to be at times. Well, now at $5.79 each, not only are they affordable, they are taking on that "endangered species list" pallor. Looks like Amazon is cleaning house. I've noticed that a lot of the books that have been on my wish list for years have dropped out of Amazon's inventory but are still available from used book shops at greatly reduced prices. Of course this hasn't happened to any of the $100+ technical volumes I'd like to own (but not in lieu of eating). Need to remember to check the list for low hanging fruit more often.
