|They were both shocked . . .

Phrembah (a potato-like mystery)
. . . when they found out that two of her three kids were his. I can almost garrantee that it was not intentional, nor did they think at the time they were doing anything that might cause such a thing to occur. It was simply an accident of the bodily fluid melée that was that house in those days. They didn't expect him to be the father, and like I say, they both seemed to be genuinely taken aback when they found out, but neither is contesting or denying anything. I think that, looking back, they both know exactly what happened. The up side is that, since two of the kids are his, his parents have agreed to take in all three of them, including the half sister, and raise them. His folks are in their early forties and can probably manage it with aplomb. They have kind of a loosey-goosey hippie household that is very laid back and they already adore the kids. They'll very likely tell all of the kids the whole truth from day one and make the whole situation seem perfectly normal and natural. I don't think it could have turned out better.
