Phrembah (a potato-like mystery)
Can you say, "Threadbare genre?" I knew that you could. Here again we have forty minutes of story line jam packed into nearly two hours running time. Some of the premise is new-ish, but there is still that age old horror flick trudge that is maintained only by the moronic behavior the chacters: If the characters were not idiots the movie would have ended an hour ago. It still sells, so it must work, right? Just not for me. I think with "Cabin In The Woods" the genre raised a gun to its own head and pulled the trigger. We should have all had a good laugh and walked away.
