Phrembah (a potato-like mystery)
People alive today will probably live to really, really regret ever making computers remotely controllable. They weren't always, you know. Used to be that if you didn't have access to "the console," you couldn't run a computer. Now "the console" for YOUR computer can be a Bosnian grad student's iPhone as easily as anything else. The ultra-convenience of being able to turn our refrigerators and toaster ovens OFF and ON from our iPads while sitting on the tarmac at Shanghai International is going to bite us in the ass. Mark my words.
