Grades are all in for Spring 2006, so it is done, friggin' done. Well done. Blackened Cajun style, if you will. Another moment on the grill and there'd have been nothing but undifferentiated carbon. If you tried to stick a fork in this baby, you'd probably break the fork. That's how done it is.
122 completed credit hours showing. 128 required. Signed up for 6 this summer. And that should do it. I'll believe it when I see it, but that should actually do it.
I got a recall notice on the Truck of Wonder a few months ago. The steering relay rod could be funky. They don't know. But they will replace it for free. The notice said I should plan to leave it for a day. Well, I couldn't leave it for a day till now so I called them up. They say it only takes about an hour and a half. Woop-Tee-Farklin' Hoodoos! You know what that means, don't you? Sure you do. It means I can easily kill that much time by walking from Apocalypse Toyota down to the Owl Cafe, having one of their Cardiac Arrest omelets, reading the paper and walking back. No need to try and bum a ride from anyone. Good. I can taste the bacon and feel the angina already. Yum.
The lukewarm reviews aren't keeping anyone away from the Va Dinci Code. I had to see it, of course, in my professional capacity as an entertainment sponge (if you ever spill any entertainment on the carpet, call me quick before it makes a stain). It wasn't as good as it could have been. Or as bad. One of those. It took me twenty minutes to get out of the parking garage next to the mui-mega-multiplex there. That is about as busy as I have ever seen it, and it's gotta be some kind of record for a Sunday. The theater had it on multiple screens and was showing it on the hour. The showings weren't selling out like Brokeback Mt., but there weren't very many empty seats.
. . .
It says Eessabeylah R-r-r-r-r-r-r-rosselleeeeeni is on Charlie Rose tonight. Highly unlikely I'll last that long, but I could print out her filmography and rent something of hers. Could do that. Hmmmm . . . She's one I've always liked. Wasn't she the witch in Death Becomes Her? Haven't seen that for a couple hunnerd years. Hmmmmm . . .
